Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) specialists CareersInc have appointed experienced careers professional, Paula Thompson as their new Careers Executive. The role will see Paula assist with the strategic development of the business, as they plan to expand their current market offer.
Paula, who has an extensive background in careers education, joined CareersInc in 2017 as a Trainee Careers Adviser. Before joining CareersInc, Paula worked in senior roles in the Business and Marketing industries for twelve years, before deciding to completely change her career path. After completing some volunteering work in a South African Primary School, Paula discovered her passion for working with young people.
Upon returning to the UK, Paula began working in a school in Derbyshire, where she met like-minded individuals in the industry who inspired her to return to University to complete her Master’s Degree in Careers Development.
Paula, who was previously an Operational Manager for CareersInc, is thrilled to be taking on the role of Careers Executive in the business. Speaking on her appointment, Paula said;

Paula’s new role will see her lead the CareersInc team to drive out the strategic development of the business. She will be a key component in developing a comprehensive CEIAG service for schools and academies.
CareersInc is part of The Progress Group, a group of training and education specialists who collectively support people aged 11 – 65 to gain new skills and knowledge, before supporting them to progress into further training or employment.
